Deb was introduced to yoga in 1995, and instantly became intoxicated by
its magic. In 1996 she attended her first retreat, which was immediately
followed by a trip to India and began her wonderful journey.
Deb has been very lucky to have been inspired by some
wonderful teachers of asana, pranayam and meditation
which has had profound influence on her own personal
practice and teachings, returning to India on a regular
basis, taking time out for long periods of retreat and
studying many paths of yoga... Sivananda Iyengar, Ashtanga
and Tantra with her teachers in India and the West.
Deb is now living in the forest of Wilsons Creek (Byron shire)
and teaching weekly
classes at the Yellow Church in
Mullumbimby and the Yoga Lounge in the Byron
Industrial
Estate.
Deb has been teaching yoga lovingly for the past
seven years and over the past four
years has
been running retreats and workshops in Sydney, Bamerang
(south of sydney),
Byron, India and Bali. Deb will be based in the
beautiful hinterland of the Byron
shire and plans to teach classes there.
